Abbas Moghtadaei Khorasgani told IRNA on Sunday that the impacts of the understanding between Tehran and Riyadh has already become obvious in the region, adding that countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and other littoral states of the Persian Gulf will benefit from the restoration of ties between the two regional powers.
Moghtadaei also noted that Iran and Saudi Arabia are two major Muslim countries who should try to enhance their relations and to reduce tensions in the region, adding that the two nations should speed up efforts to finalize improvement of ties.
Saudi Arabia needs Iran to resolve its challenges, the legislator said, adding that countries like Russia and China also require vast cooperation with the Islamic Republic to advance their economic and political goals.
